NisabaCircle
Support
NisabaCircle is used through a school. Most questions are answered fastest by the school itself, because most of them are its decisions. This page says which is which.
Ask your school first
Your school administrator or safeguarding lead decides all of these:
- Joining, and being approved — by invitation or by an application an administrator reviews.
- Which groups exist, and who is on each one.
- Whether one-to-one messaging is switched on at all.
- How long the school keeps messages, files and call records.
- Anything reported for safeguarding.
Ask us
Write to support@nisabacircle.com. How quickly we reply is unresolved — no commitment is made here that has not been decided.
Write to us about the application itself:
- It will not sign in, crashes, or a screen does not load.
- A call will not connect, or there is no sound.
- A photograph or video will not send or will not play.
- Something looks wrong that your school cannot change.
Never send a password, a one-time code or a screenshot of a child's conversation. We will never ask for any of them. Tell us your school's name, roughly when it happened, and what you saw.
Safeguarding
If you are worried about a child's immediate safety, contact your school or the emergency services. NisabaCircle is a communication tool; it is not monitored by us, and a report inside the app goes to your school's safeguarding lead, not to us.
Inside the app, press report on a message. Your school's safeguarding lead can then open a case and review the message and anything attached to it.
Common questions
I cannot sign in.
Sign-in goes through your school's identity provider. If your account is new, an administrator has to approve you before you can see anything. If you see "Access paused", your school's access has been suspended — contact your school administrator.
Why can I not message or call someone?
You are only offered people you already share an approved, running group with, and only if your school has switched one-to-one conversations on. Sharing a school is not sharing a group.
Are calls recorded?
No. No audio or video from a live call is ever recorded, stored, transcribed or analysed. What is kept is who called whom, when, how long, and how it ended.
So nothing I send is kept?
That is not what the answer above says, and the difference matters. A photograph or video you attach to a message is stored: it is scanned for malware, kept for as long as your school's retention period says, and can be reviewed by your school's administrators and safeguarding leads inside a safeguarding case — including one attached to a one-to-one message. Only live call audio and video are never recorded. The privacy page sets out both.
How do I delete my account?
